In 2024, The Chalmers Center for Economic Development at Covenant College, Inc. achieved a significant milestone by becoming the only employer in the Other Services sector in Northwest Georgia to receive approval for its H-1B petition. This year, Georgia's overall H-1B petition approval rate soared to 96.3%, a positive increase from last year's 94.9%. The Manufacturing sector led the way with 19 petitions, while the Health Care and Social Assistance sectors showed strong demand for skilled labor as well.
