Valley Link, a joint effort by Dominion Energy, FirstEnergy Transmission, and Transource Energy, is leading an ambitious $1 billion project to construct a high-voltage transmission line in Virginia. The project is designed to address the anticipated doubling of power demand in the region over the next two decades, with the capacity to provide electricity to around two million homes. Representatives Lane Carr and Roya Smith emphasized the extensive planning that has gone into the initiative.
