In a noteworthy legal development, the ACLU of West Virginia has initiated a lawsuit in Kanawha County Circuit Court against Governor Patrick Morrisey. ACLU-WV Legal Director Aubrey Sparks argues that this action oversteps the governor's legal authority under Virginia’s Civil Litigation standards.
